Project Description

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is embarking on its Nellis Boulevard Rehabilitation Project between Tropicana Avenue and Craig Road in Clark County, Nevada. The project corridor is approximately ten miles long. Final construction improvements include a new roadway surface, upgraded utilities and improved accessibility for pedestrians.

What Is The Purpose?

This project aims at making Nellis Boulevard safer for all users. Repaving will make for a smoother, safer ride; improved sidewalk ramps and more easily accessible pedestrian crossing buttons will enhance pedestrian safety and mobility.

A concrete road surface will be added at several intersections for additional durability and longevity. Roadway drainage improvement also will be made as part of NDOT's dedication to preserving the quality of stormwater crossing state roadways.
