The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is making improvements to the Jones Boulevard corridor in Las Vegas, from Upland Boulevard (just south of US 95) to Smoke Ranch Road. The project is slated to begin in July and estimated to be completed by the end of the year.
The scope of work includes:
- Life-cycle roadbed modification, eliminating roadway fatigue and rutting and improving the substructure to help the road last longer.
- Installation of pedestrian-actuated crosswalks on Jones Boulevard at Carmen Boulevard, Carl Avenue, and Eugene Avenue
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements for pedestrian facilities
The map below shows the project limits on Jones Boulevard, from Upland Boulevard near US 95 to Smoke Ranch Road.
There will be daytime and nighttime lane reductions—plus on-street parking restrictions—during construction, which will be posted here in the Resources section, as well as emailed to those who sign up for project updates.
