2019 Bicycle and Pedestrian Summit

2019 Trails and Transportation Summit

Presented by: Nevada Department of Transportation and Eastern Sierra Trails Coalition

Connecting Communities – Trails, Transportation and Tourism

Pedestrian and bicycle transportation and safety will be among some of the topics at the first-ever combined Trails to Transportation Summit. The event formerly known as the Nevada Bicycle and Pedestrian Summit is scheduled for November 5th through the 7th at the MontBleu Resort Casino in Lake Tahoe.

The event aims to provide the latest information on bicycle tourism, facility planning and design, safety, enforcement and education initiatives, as well as Safe Routes to School and Complete Streets program information and more.

This year’s conference will have speakers presenting about updates to the AASHTO Bicycle Guide as well as insights on subjects like Vision Zero, E-mobility, Complete Streets, Recreational Trails, to name a few. We are also proud to welcome Willie Weir as a speaker at this year’s conference. His two-wheeled adventures have taken him all over the globe -- from the horse tracks in the highlands of Lesotho, to the war-torn roads of Bosnia, to the back roads of Colombia and Cambodia. Please join us to hear more about Willie's adventures and participate in this year’s exciting summit.
