Overnight Closure of Northbound I-580 to I-80 Eastbound Reno Spaghetti Bowl/Glendale Ave. Ramps

Post Date:03/11/2020 9:04 AM

CARSON CITY, Nev. – The northbound Interstate 580 to eastbound Interstate 80 spaghetti bowl ramp in Reno, as well as the Glendale Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-580, will be closed overnight Wednesday evening, March 11 as the Nevada Department of Transportation repairs damaged guardrail.

The northbound I-580 to eastbound I-80 spaghetti bowl ramp will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 to approximately 5 a.m. Thursday, March 12 as NDOT road maintenance crews replace an attenuator, or crash cushion, at the end of roadway guardrail. The Glendale Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-580 will also be closed at the same time, as the ramp enters where crews will be working. A nearby detour will be available. All other spaghetti bowl ramps are scheduled to remain open. Motorists should expect moderate travel delays.

The work is scheduled for overnight hours to avoid impacting commute hour traffic.

Updated state road conditions are available by visiting or dialing (775) 888-7000 before driving.
