Elkhorn HOV Onramp to U.S. 95 SB Closed Sunday Night in Northwest Las Vegas

Post Date:02/05/2020 11:48 AM

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the Elkhorn Road High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) onramp to U.S. Highway 95 southbound from 8 p.m., February 9, until 5 a.m., February 10, in northwest Las Vegas. The temporary closure is needed to safely remove portable precast concrete barrier railing from the ramp gore.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through work zones, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
