Overnight Lane Reductions on U.S. 395 Through Gardnerville Sept. 9-11

Post Date:09/04/2019 12:26 PM
Overnight single lane closures will be in place on U.S. 395 in Gardnerville the evening of Monday, Sept. 9 through the morning of Thursday, Sept. 12 as the Nevada Department of Transportation repaves sections of roadway surface.
Between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly the evening of Sept. 9 through the morning of Sept. 12, single lane closures will be in place on both directions of U.S. 395 between Waterloo Lane and First Street. Atleast one lane of travel will remain open in each direction. Minor travel delays are to be anticipated.
Freight trucks and oversize vehicles traveling U.S. 395 in the area will be detoured via Buckeye Road and Toler Avenue as directed by detour signage.
Crews will be excavating approximately three inches of potholed sections of road surface and refilling with new pavement for a smoother and safer drive.
NDOT plans a more extensive roadway repaving project in future years as funding becomes available.
More than 20,000 vehicles travel the highway every day.
