I-11 Southbound Wagonwheel Dr. Offramp Closed June 3-4 in Henderson

Post Date:05/31/2019 11:03 AM

HENDERSON, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the Interstate 11 southbound offramp to Wagonwheel Drive from 10 p.m., June 3, until 5 a.m., June 4, in Henderson. (A signed detour will be in place). The temporary closure is needed for mill and paving upgrades as part of a $976,000 freeway ramp improvement project. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor.

Other upcoming project related impacts include reducing travel lanes along Equestrian Drive in both directions at Boulder Highway (State Route 582) from 9 p.m., June 2, until 5 a.m., June 3. Additionally, westbound Equestrian Drive at Boulder Highway will have reduced lanes from 3 a.m. until 11 a.m., June 5.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
