Centennial Bowl Connector, Ann Road Ramp Closures Jan. 27-Feb. 4 in NW Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the northbound U.S. Highway 95 to eastbound 215 Beltway connector from 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., beginning the evening of January 27 and concluding the morning of February 1, in northwest Las Vegas. And it will be closed again from 8 p.m., February 3, until 5 a.m., February 4. Additionally, the northbound Ann Road onramp to northbound U.S. Highway 95 will be closed nightly during the same time frames.
The temporary closures are needed for improvements related to the $73 million next phase of the “Centennial Bowl.” Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor. The project calls for constructing a northbound U.S. Highway 95 to westbound 215 Beltway flyover, plus building a southbound U.S. Highway 95 to eastbound 215 Beltway connector along with other improvements.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
