A photo of an NDOT photographer photographing over a bridgeCARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Transportation is accepting applications for a photography and videography specialist based in Carson City.

Known as digital media specialist, the position initiates, coordinates, films and produces video and photography projects to document Nevada Department of Transportation and other state projects and programs. The videos and photos are shared with Nevada citizens through many venues, including NDOT’s website and Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts. 

Applicants are required to travel the state and must have a bachelor’s degree in photography, journalism or related field and three years or more of related experience. Experience in video animation and photo and video cataloging is preferred.

Applications must be submitted by Jan. 16. Those interested can select the “careers” link of for information and application.
