Oso Blanca Road Closed 24/7 from August 6-11 in Northwest Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close Oso Blanca Road from north of Deer Springs Way to south of the Mountain Ridge Park entrance from 6 a.m., August 6, until 7 a.m., August 11, in northwest Las Vegas.
The 24/7 closures are needed for storm drainage improvements as part of a $78 million, 6-mile-long widening and upgrade to U.S. Highway 95 between Ann and Kyle Canyon roads that broke ground earlier this year. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
