Northbound I-15 at U.S. Highway 93 Lane Restrictions August 3-4 in Clark County
CLARK COUNTY, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the inside travel lane of northbound Interstate 15 at U.S. Highway 93 (near Apex Industrial Park) from 7 p.m., August 3, until 7 a.m., August 4, in Clark County.
The overnight night closure is needed for bridge work as part of a new $58 million Interstate 15 U.S. Highway 93 Garnet interchange that broke ground earlier this year. Ames Construction is the design-build general contractor, with Horrocks Engineers as lead designer. Plans call for building a modified diverging diamond interchange, plus widening U.S. Highway 93 from a two-lane highway to a four-lane divided highway for five miles from the new Garnet Interchange to just north of Apex Power Parkway, among other improvements. The project should reach substantial completion by December.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
