Interstate 15 / 215 Beltway Overnight Ramp Closure July 6 in North Las Vegas
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the northbound Interstate 15 on- and offramps to the 215 Beltway from 9 p.m., July 6, until 5 a.m., July 7, in North Las Vegas.
The temporary closure is for paving activities as part of a nearly $34 million 5-mile-long Interstate 15 widening project between Craig Road and Speedway Boulevard in North Las Vegas. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor. The project is expanding the highway from four to six travel lanes while widening four overpass structures at Range Road and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
