U.S. Highway 95 Nightly Lane Restrictions August 13-18 in Northwest Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NEV. -- The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will be reducing northbound U.S. Highway 95 between Ann Road and the 215 Beltway in northwest Las Vegas to a single lane nightly from 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., the evening of August 13 through the morning of August 18. Additionally, southbound U.S. Highway 95 between Elkhorn and Ann roads will be narrowed down to one lane during the same time frames.
The temporary closures are required for final work related to the $47 million “Centennial Bowl” interchange project, including placing permanent striping and barrier railing. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate routes, if possible. NDOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
