“Centennial Bowl” Interchange Ribbon Cutting Celebration in Northwest Las Vegas
WHAT: The Nevada Department of Transportation, along with its partners, will celebrate the opening of the $47 million U.S. 95 / 215 Beltway “Centennial Bowl” Interchange in northwest Las Vegas. The project greatly enhances traffic, mobility and motorist safety while establishing a new gateway corridor for the Centennial area. There will be light snacks, beverages, and free swag.
WHEN: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017
WHERE: Southeast corner of Northbound U.S. 95 and the 215 Beltway
WHO: County Commissioner and RTC Chairman Larry Brown, NDOT Director Rudy Malfabon, and Assemblyman Richard Carrillo as well as other community leaders and elected officials
WHY: The ramps and freeways at U.S. 95 and the 215 Beltway currently see over 107,500 vehicles a day, making it the state’s third busiest intersection. The interchange establishes a vital social, cultural and economic link for local businesses, residents and visitors in northwest Las Vegas, while also by improving accessibility, mobility and safety.
