I-15 Design Build SouthContract - I-15 South, Blue Diamond Road to Tropicana Avenue Design Build Project.
Contract 3366 - Las Vegas Paving Corporation - $246,500,000.
Improve the I-15 corridor from Tropicana Avenue to Silverado Ranch Road. Relieve congestion and improve traffic flow in the I-15 corridor in response to continued growth in the Las Vegas Valley.
Project Start: February 2010 Estimated Completion: March 2012
On I-15 northbound the right travel lane at I-215 and the I-215 westbound to I-15 Northbound ramp will be closed to set Temp barrier rail, Monday and Tuesday evenings, February 8 and 9 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.Motorists are advised to use lane shifts as directed.

HEIGHT RESTRICTION ALERT: The I-15 northbound ramp and Las Vegas Boulevard on-ramp to CC-215 westbound will have a height restriction of 15' 6". Over-height traffic will be routed to I-15 north to Russell Road, to I-15 southbound to the CC-215 west bound ramp. This height restriction will be in place from March 30, 2010 through August 9, 2010.

I-15 Express Lane Project I-215 to Sahara Avenue
Contract 3355 - Capriati Construction Corp., Inc. - $21,516,293.69
Construction of a portion of I-15 from I-215 to the Sahara Interchange, approximately 5.72 miles. Widening from 8 to 10 lanes.
Project Start: Sep 15, 2008 Estimated Completion: Nov 2009
On I-15 from the UPRR Bridge Structure nead Industrial to I-215 two express lanes in each direction are now operational. Construction continues on the new bridge over the UPRR and is expected to be complete this Spring. Motorists are advised to use lane shifts as directed, use caution in the work zone.

Industrial Road is reduced to one lane of travel in each direction under I-15 through February.

I-15 Design Build Project - I-15 Widening from the I-15/US 95 Spaghetti Bowl Interchange to Craig Road
Contract 3313 - North Corridor Constructors - $240,000,000.00
Improve the I-15 corridor from the I-15/US 95 "Spaghetti Bowl" interchanges to Craig Rd. in North Las Vegas. The project's purpose is to relieve congestion and improve traffic flow in the I-15 corridor in response to continued growth in the Las Vegas Valley.
Project Start: September 2007 Estimated Completion: Fall 2010
US 95 Landscaping and Aethetics Project
Contract 3391 (ARRA) - Valley Crest Landscaping Development, Inc. - $3,115,684.58
Landscaping and aesthetics along US 95 from Martin Luther King Boulevard to the Rainbow Interchange.
Project Start: September 28, 2009 - Estimated Completion: August 2010
No impact on traffic at this time.

SR 564 Lake Mead Parkway widening
Contract No. 3390 - Las Vegas Paving Corp.,$13,543,210.00.
Construction of a portion of the Urban Highway System in Clark County, Nevada, on Lake Mead Pkwy(SR 564), from Boulder Highway(SR582) to Lake Mead National Recreation Area and SR 564, Lake Mead Pkwy, from Boulder Highway(SR582) to Ash Street.
Project Start: January 2010 Estimated Completion: Fall 2010
Various lane closures may be in effect on Lake Mead Parkway between Boulder Highway and the Lake Mead Recreation Area Sunday through Thursday evenings from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Motorists are advised to use lane shifts as directed.

Culvert work will take place adjacent to Lake Mead Parkway between Boulder Highway and the Lake Mead Recreation Area (Near Warm Springs Road, Athens Avenue, and Golda Way) from 8:00 p.m. Friday evenings through 5:00 a.m. Monday mornings. Motorists are advised to use caution in the work zone.

Cheyenne Avenue Repaving Project
Contract: 3383 - Las Vegas Paving - $9,677,150.00
Cheyenne Avenue from US 95 to Losee Road and from Civic Center Drive to Nellis Boulevard. Cold mill and place plantmix bituminous surface with open-grade, restripe from 4 to 6 lanes including median island, signal modifications and right turn lanes.
Project Start: August 2009 - Estimated Completion: June 2010
Lane closures will be in effect on Cheyenne Avenue between US-95 and Nellis Boulevard Sunday through Thursday evenings from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each evening.Motorists are advised to use traffic controls as directed



Widen Saint Rose Parkway to eight lanes (Phase 2B)
Contract 3361, Southern Nevada Paving $6,583,666.05
Traffic on Saint Rose Parkway at I-215 has been switched to the west side of the road. Paving operations are expected to continue through February and will resume for the final paving when temperatures allow for open grade paving. Motorists are advised to use lane shifts and caution in the work zone.

I-15 Southbound Paving from Mile Post 17 to California State Line
Contract 3397 ARRA-015-1(140): Fisher Sand & Gravel Company - $7,333,333.33
Project Start: Spring 2010 Estimated Completion: Fall 2010
No impacts on traffic at this time. Project Start scheduled for Feb or Mar 2010.

The O'Callaghan/Tillman Bridge - Construction Delays
Due to construction activities and public safety, traffic on US 93 at the Hoover Dam may be reduced to single lane in each direction in the evening hours. Motorists are advised to observe traffic controls and use extreme caution in the work zone.

On Monday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m., blasting will take place at milepost 2.7. Motorists can expect hour long travel delays until 4 p.m. Please plan accordingly and use an alternate route when possible.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m., blasting will take place at milepost 2.7. Motorists can expect hour long travel delays until 4 p.m. Please plan accordingly and use an alternate route when possible.

Crews are continuing paving operations along the new southbound alignment of US 93. Paving operations will start at milepost 17 and move north through the project to milepost 10. Paving of this phase is anticipated to be complete by March 31, 2010. Motorists can expect 15-minute delays during interim asphalt deliveries.
