This area will help you to navigate Nevada's highways by providing information on our Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which is based on a comprehensive annual planning process involving NDOT, the state's metropolitan Planning Organizations and/or local governments throughout the state. Information provided here is divided into the following components: STIP, Annual Work Program, Short Range Element and Long Range Elements listing future projects by county, and a separate section listing projects already in the process of construction.
This section of the NDOT website enables you to order an executive summary of the current STIP, view the projects listed by county from the Annual Work Program, the Short and Long Range Elements of the Transportation Improvement Program.

Transportation System Project Plan Annual Work Program – Short Range Element – Long Range Element
This section includes county listings of future highway projects from the Annual Work Program (AWP) scheduled to begin during the current federal fiscal year. Following the AWP projects are future projects listed in the Short Range Element (for federal fiscal years 2008-2009), and the Long Range Element for the period 2010-2016. These projects, listed by county, were approved by Nevada's Transportation Board at its October, 1998 meeting. Execution of these projects is contingent on the availability of state and federal funding, timely right-of-way acquisition or priority revisions which may affect the scheduling or completion of any of the projects listed.
The Annual Work Program (FY 2006-2007) lists all highway construction and major maintenance projects that NDOT intends to work on during the current federal fiscal year.The Short Range Element lists all highway construction or major maintenance projects that NDOT intends to work on during federal fiscal years 2008-2009.
The Long Range Element identifies highway construction projects the State, the Metropolitan Planning Organizations and/or localities would like to initiate within federal fiscal years 2010-2016. None of the projects listed in the Long Range Element have been prioritized at this time.
