Ribbon Task Force Actions – Informational Item Only
- Discussion and possible approval of Blue Ribbon Task Force recommendations regarding revenue sources to address the Nevada Department of Transportation’s (NDOT’s) future funding shortfalls - Action Item.
See document entitled “Potential Highway Fund Revenue from Various
Sources,” Attached as Exhibit “A,” which provides specifics as to topic items
Including, but not limited to, matters that may relate to recommendations pertinent to revenue sources to address NDOT’s funding shortfalls. The attachment gives the best notice available, to date, as to what the Blue Ribbon Task Force anticipates will be discussed and acted upon.
- Discussion and possible approval of the Blue Ribbon Task Force Report to the State Transportation Board of Directors - Action Item
The Final Draft Report addresses the need for future NDOT projects including, but not limited to, the following: impacts to congestion relief; state highway system serviceability; safety; quality of life and economy of Nevada; proposed project costs and revenue projections; and evaluation of funding and funding options. The Final Draft Report can be viewed on NDOT’s website a www.nevadadot.com
