U.S. 95 PROJECT OFFICE TO MOVE
U.S. 95 Widening Project Office - Moved to 3828 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107, phone 486-0486, fax 486-0487, email crazor@dot.state.nv.us or us95@dot.state.nv.us. This office provides information to the public, other agencies, and media regarding the U.S. 95 Widening Project, the limits of which are from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Craig Road. Mr. Stephens saw a similar office that Virginia DOT opened and felt the concept would have great application for the $350 million U.S. 95 Widening Project. The public is encouraged to visit the office to receive information regarding project status, right-of-way, and project plans. There is a computer kiosk for the public to access the U.S. 95 website at www.US95.net, the NDOT website, and other informational websites. Handout material is available for the public. Transportation-related video and television programs will be shown, in addition to other governmental broadcasts. (Please note that we are waiting for the computer network to be installed and are currently picking up email once a day at District 1. ) This office is in the Meadows Business Centre at the corner of Meadows Lane and Valley View Boulevard, just outside the Meadows Mall Sears 2nd level entrance. This move has been a great team effort with the assistance of many Divisions at District 1 and in Carson City. THANKS TO ALL!!!!!
I-15 Northeast Corridor Study - Moved to 3830 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107, phone 486-0478, fax 486-0487. This office provides information to the public, other agencies, and the media regarding the I-15 Northeast Corridor Study. This Study being conducted by Program Development Office, is looking at current and future transportation needs in the Northwest portion of the Las Vegas Valley. The corridor encompasses the area north of Bonanza and east of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The public is encouraged to provide information and comments about transportation needs in the area. Additional information about this Study can be obtained by accessing the NDOT website, clicking on the microphone icon, and then clicking on Press Releases.
Las Vegas Program Development Office - SOON moving to 3830 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107. This group will be moving from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada Building as soon as computers are installed at the Meadows Lane facility. More information will be available after they make the move.
