Partnering to Build Nevada Roads
The Nevada Department of Transportation and the construction industry join together to build the state transportation projects and improvements that move Nevada forward.
In this team spirit, NDOT and the construction industry of northern and southern Nevada have established a partnering committee to exchange ideas to further enhance Nevada state road projects and ensure the best value to Nevada taxpayers.
Comprised of executive-level members from NDOT and the construction industry, the committee meets quarterly to discuss construction specifications, advertising schedule of upcoming projects, contract administration, and NDOT policies.
This open dialogue enhances the partnering relationship between the state of Nevada and the professional contractors who build Nevada roads, all with the goal of providing the best value and the best roadways for Nevada taxpayers.
Membership
Committee membership is established by special nomination and appointment by the liaison committee. Members commit to attend a minimum of three out of four meetings per year with no substitution.
