Title: Nightly Lane Reductions on I-15 between Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway

Story Text:

Las Vegas – The Nevada Department of Transportation will implement nightly lane restrictions on I-15 northbound and southbound between Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway.  Starting this evening until Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, I-15 northbound and southbound will be reduced to one lane.  On Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., only I-15 northbound will be restricted to one lane.  Lane restrictions are required for the removal of barrier rails on I-15 northbound, milling and paving on I-15 northbound and installation of aesthetic panels on the new Cactus Interchange over I-15.

The Cactus Interchange Project will reduce traffic congestion on I-15, and provide an alternate route to the southwestern portion of the Las Vegas Valley.  The $52 million project is expected to be complete this fall.
