Speed limits have been reduced on State Route 306 from approximately Beowawe to Crescent Valley.

     The Nevada Department of Transportation has reduced speed limits on the nearly 13-mile stretch of road from 70 to 45 mph to provide slower and safer speeds appropriate for current road conditions.

     A project to completely rehabilitate the roadbed and pavement is planned for spring/summer as appropriate road construction temperatures are reached.

     Motorists are reminded to follow speed limits and always drive safely for road and weather conditions.
