Public participation and outreach is an integral part of this study, and several workshops and public meetings have been and will be conducted throughout this study to educate the public and solicit comments and feedback from the public and stakeholders.

Workshops: Two Workshops have been conducted thus far as follows:

1) Reno on Saturday, May 9th 2009, at the UNR Student Union Building Ballroom C, from 8:00 am to Noon.

2) Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Las Vegas Valley Water District Conference Room, located at 1001 South Valley View Blvd, from 8:00 am to Noon.

Phase 1 Public Meetings: Two public meetings were conducted as phase one of the study:
1) Reno on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

2) Las Vegas on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Clark County Government Building from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
